St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office deputies will trade their handcuffs and badges for gourmet burgers and aprons at Red Robin® this Saturday, October 24 during the annual Tip-A-Cop event to benefit Special Olympics from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
During the event, which is in its 10th year, officers will help serve guests at Red Robin restaurants and collect tips to benefit Special Olympics. 100% of the tips raised by officers will benefit Special Olympics.
Tip-A-Cop is part of the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run campaign, which includes an international series of relay runs and special events. Funds raised benefit the local Special Olympics.
